City of Zagreb supports us!

With this project, Natural Croatia got a support for new active programs that attract tourists to stay longer in city of Zagreb and enjoy an adventurous side of this beautiful town. Zagreb is enriching its tourist offer more and more in many directions so it is quite natural to support new and active ideas. Natural Croatia introduced the first taste of the Via Dinarica trail to National Geographic journalist!
Amazing article in National Geographic Travel by Avery Stonich telling us about hiking Via Dinarica trail from her perspective: “Croatia: My first taste of the Via Dinarica was along Vihoraški put, a stretch of trail about an hour and a half from Zagreb that scrambles up and down pointy fingers of limestone—talk about discovering the hidden side of Croatia. We trekked for eight hours through a cathedral of white rock and didn’t see another soul all day. I wish we could have stayed overnight at Ratkovo sklonište (Ratko’s shelter), a simple backcountry hut that’s built into a cave. But alas, our plans were just for the day.
Thank you Avery Stonich for a great article about Croatia!
